On the 49th anniversary last week of her uncle’s death, Dr. Alveda King took time out to remind Americans that the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream cannot be achieved outside of God’s will.
“The world seems to have forgotten what Martin Luther King, Jr. knew; we need God’s help,” King said, as quoted in a piece by Christian Newswire. “In the midst of life’s challenges … in order to escape the abyss, we need help from God … If the Dream of my Uncle Martin Luther King, Jr. is to be fully received, we must return to, we must come back to God.”
